Removalists in Hermit Park

Older inner suburb, mixed housing
Hermit Park is about 3 km south-west of Townsville City. It has a high share of townhouses and semi-detached homes. In the 2021 Census, 54.9% of occupied dwellings were separate houses, 35.6% were semi-detached houses or townhouses and 9.5% were flats. Across the City of Townsville, only 11.0% were semi-detached or townhouses. 47.9% of homes were rented, and the median weekly rent was $235, below the City of Townsville median of $290.
For a removalist, that mix means quotes vary a lot from street to street. A two-bedroom townhouse with one flight of stairs is a different job from a raised house with an outside stair. Tell the removalist:

Ask about the property's flood history before you commit to a lease or purchase, and keep that in mind if you are storing furniture in a ground-level garage or under the house.
